Here's what's new in each version of TodoCity, with the newest at the top. The current version is **0.4.74**. These are the same notes TodoCity shows you after it updates, and you'll find the full history on [GitHub](https://github.com/pillieshwar/TodoCity/releases).

To check which version you have, open **Settings → General → Updates**. [Install](https://todocity.app/docs/install#updates) explains how updates arrive.

## 0.4.74 (current)

- Todoist now syncs both ways: change, add, finish or delete a task in either app and the other follows
- Rather keep it one-way? Switch it in Settings → Connectors → Todoist
- Todoist and Things 3 now live in Settings → Connectors, with how to move in behind the (i)
- Repeating tasks move on once in both apps, even with two Macs

## 0.4.73

- TodoCity is now open source under the MIT License: use it, change it and share it, including at work
- Everything stays free, and the code is on GitHub for anyone to read

## 0.4.72

- Pick your own keys: open Keyboard shortcuts (press ?) and click any key, like T for Today, to choose another
- Choose a key that's already taken and the two swap, so every key still does one thing
- "Use the usual keys" puts them all back

## 0.4.71

- Move your meetings from TodoCity: drag one to a new time or day in Calendar, or stretch it, and it moves in Apple Calendar too
- Changed your mind? Undo puts it back
- Meetings you organize ask first, since your guests get the new time; invites from other people stay as they are

## 0.4.70

- Repeat has its own button, right after priority
- Repeat any way you like: every 3 days, every other Monday and Wednesday, the 2nd Tuesday of the month, the last day of the month
- "After I finish": the next one counts from the day you finish it
- End a series on a date or after a number of times, and see the next days before you save; a deadline always ends it
- Type it: "every other tuesday", "the last day of every month", "every weekday until dec 18"

## 0.4.69

- A calmer header: whose tasks to show (yours, everything, or what agents changed) and List or Board now live in one View button
- Agent changes are marked quietly, with the agent's icon: "Scheduled by Claude"
- Short tasks in Calendar stay readable: one tidy line, the full title on hover, and a crowded hour folds into "+2"
- Beside Today: just this week and your hours, since the list already shows the rest
- Updates no longer interrupt you: a small "Update ready" in the corner when a new version is downloaded
- Email to tasks is gone: Watch already turns what's on your screen into tasks
- Repeating tasks show a small repeat icon on their line

## 0.4.68

- Watch can send to the agent you already use: pick Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Gemini or Cursor in Settings → Watch, or keep an open model on your Mac
- Agents have their own page in Settings: connect Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity CLI, Cursor and more to TodoCity in one click
- Agents show their own app icons in Settings and in the agent panel
- Settings is tidier: AI has its own group (Agents, Watch, Open models), with the details behind small (i) buttons
- Open models lists just the few small models that do this job best

## 0.4.67

- Hand any task to an agent from its line: point at it and click the agent button on the right, then press Return
- With agents, in the sidebar: everything you've handed off, grouped by what needs you, what's ready to review and what's still going
- What it did: see everything the agent's terminal showed, even after you quit TodoCity
- When an agent finishes without a summary, the task shows the last lines from its terminal

## 0.4.66

- Agents inside TodoCity: open the agent panel (top right) to run Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor Agent or a plain terminal beside your list
- Every agent you start here is already connected to TodoCity, so you can ask it to plan your day or tidy your Inbox in one click
- Send to agent: from a task's ⋯ menu, hand it to an agent in the folder you choose
- The task shows how it's going — working, needs you, ready to review — with the agent's summary and links, and you mark it done after you look it over

## 0.4.65

- You · All · Agents in the header: see just your tasks, everything, or only what AI agents added or changed this week
- Everything an agent does is marked ("Claude scheduled") and one click undoes it — a task, or everything from one request
- Ask Claude to plan your day: it finds the free time between your meetings and puts tasks there
- Tasks an agent deleted come back from Connectors → AI agents for 7 days
- The menu bar shows what an agent just did, with Undo

## 0.4.64

- Put your tasks in Apple Calendar: Connectors → Apple Calendar
- Each project gets its own calendar, grouped like TodoCity · Work · Launch — tick in Calendar exactly what you want to see
- Move or stretch an event and the task follows; delete it and the task goes too
- Keep them On My Mac, or in iCloud to see them on your iPhone

## 0.4.63

- Full access for AI agents: turn it on in Settings → Connectors → AI agents and Claude, Cursor and other AI apps can run your list for you
- With it, agents can read, add, change, schedule, snooze, complete and delete tasks, sub-tasks, projects and sections — 28 tools in all
- It's off until you turn it on; without it, agents still only add tasks for you to approve

## 0.4.62

- Give a task any length — 7 minutes, 45, 1h30 — with the new Length chip, or type “for 30 min” when you add it
- Start tasks at any minute, like 9:07
- Calendar draws each task at its real time and length, side by side when they overlap
- Drag a task's bottom edge in Calendar to make it longer or shorter; drops snap to 5 minutes

## 0.4.61

- Your tasks, backups and models now live in a folder called TodoCity, in ~/Library/Application Support — moved for you, nothing to do

## 0.4.60

- A task deleted on one Mac now deletes its reminder too, so it stays deleted everywhere
- A repeating task ticked off on two Macs while they were apart makes just one next task
- Un-ticking a repeating task on your other Mac removes its next one there too

## 0.4.59

- Plain words for your work: projects, sections and tasks — buildings and floors live in your city
- Sections in the sidebar look like Slack channels (# Travel), with General for tasks in no section
- Drag a task from one section to another right in a project's list
- In Calendar, drag the row of dates sideways (or swipe with two fingers) to move a day at a time
- Calendar opens with more room: the side pane starts closed there, and remembers if you open it
- Click “from Mail” or “from Slack” on any task to open the email, message or page it came from — show it always, on hover or never in Settings → General
- Finishing a task shows a green check
- Show data folder in Settings → Backups & export

## 0.4.58

- Skip the model download in the tour and type tasks yourself — add the AI model whenever you like
- Reminders to set things up are quieter, and “Not now” hides them
- Hover your city or the Projects heading to see how buildings and residents work
- Clearer wording throughout the app

## 0.4.57

- Finishing a task plays “Lights on”: a light switch and a warm chime as a window lights up (turn it off in Settings → Notifications)
- Task edits save as you type — no Enter or Save needed, and closing a task keeps what you typed

## 0.4.56

- Keep in sync with Things 3 or Todoist: changes there flow into TodoCity on their own
- Synced tasks stay editable — your edits stick until the same thing changes in the other app
- Stop syncing a single project from its ⋯ menu, or everything from Import Data
- Your Todoist token is kept in the macOS Keychain, and deleted when you stop syncing

## 0.4.55

- A cleaner Add Task: chips for where it goes, its date and time; icons for priority, deadline, sub-tasks and tags
- Priority: P1, P2 and P3 — click the flag, or type p1 in a task
- A repeating task with a deadline stops at its deadline
- Open tasks use the same clean card, in the list and in the side pane
- Grey icons, Settings next to your name, and a slimmer footer
- Personal mode by default, with Home and Office projects

## 0.4.54

- A cleaner logo, and a colour menu-bar icon

## 0.4.53

- Calendar week lines line up
- Boards fill the screen, with their scrollbar at the bottom
- A keyboard shortcuts window — change your shortcuts there
- Lists by default, with compact rows
- Move In is now Import Data

## 0.4.52

- Inbox: tasks in no project, as a list or a board
- Calmer rows with rounded checkboxes
- A footer with the AI model, your city and the version
- Show or hide the calendar pane; Logbook is now Completed

## 0.4.51

- TodoCity, one word, everywhere

## 0.4.50

- Pick a floor when adding a task
- Drag tasks onto buildings and floors
- A resizable right pane
- The version in the corner, with Update
- A 3D mayor
